| Sides came out of a search to find a visual representation of the sound installation Disco Debris for the publication of the group show Suspended Spaces that it was part of. I blow torched the forbidden areas around Famagusta onto vinyl records of Demis Roussos which I used in the installation. Side A was the UN military zone west of Famagusta. Side B the abandoned suburb of Varosha which the project was based around. see Disco Debris. The audio from the record was then rerecorded and recomposed and pressed onto limited edition vinyl. | |||||
