Prepared disklavier installation [12 hours].
politicus is a 12 hour sound installation for prepared disklavier as shown at the Netherlands Pavilion, Venice Biennale 2011. The work is an encryption of Plato's late dialogue “Politicus” in which the ‘Stranger’ and ‘young Socrates’ discuss the art of statesmanship. A shorter [15′] concert version of a part of the piece can be played live.
