Electric guitar quartet, electronics [7′].
X is a fantasy on Jimi Hendrix's “Crosstown Traffic”. It was written for Zwerm and Mr.Probe's ‘popcorn’ programme. It's scored for electric guitar quartet, additionally playing kazoos, and sequenced drum machine. Similar to wavespace, the musicians use independent click tracks to synchronize the complex rhythm and tempo fluctuations.
