Nocturnal field recordings made in Andros, Greece over several nights are warped on a spectral and temporal level. This forms the sonic landscape through which the four EWI's traverse. Each instrument sonifies their path, as if wandering through the nightscape with a torch, illuminating and resonating a very narrow bandwidth of the sound. Technically the pitches played by the EWI, whether short pulses or long glissandi are mapped as discrete filters onto the sound landscape. We hear the night through the perspective of the player's paths mapped out in the composition.
