quintet (for organ)
For 3-manual slider-chest organ and 5 players [26′]

quintet (for organ) is written for the Verscheuren organ at Orgelpark Amsterdam. It makes use of the slider-chest mechanism to give an expressive role to the use of stops on the various manuals. It is scored for 5 players, where one player sits in the centre and with the use of weights changes the harmony 1 note at a time as given throughout the course of the piece. The other four players manage the stops.
